Organic Garden Mix

A blend of composted organics, coarse sand and mushroom compost which can be used for general planting. You can use this organic garden mix as a direct planting medium for most plants or as a conditioner to boost existing soil condition. The use of the organic material also provides plenty of microbial activity and carbon to assist in stimulating plant growth.

Disclaimer: As the composted organics are a recycled product from your home’s green waste bin, small particles of foreign objects may be found in the soil mix. This arises from glass and plastics being put in the incorrect bins. Whilst a screening process is undertaken to remove the larger particles, some smaller particles may remain in the soil.

Organic Vegetable Mix

A blend of composted organics, coarse sand, mushroom compost and chicken manure which can be used for general planting which is richer in than our Organic Garden Mix by having a higher compost and manure content. The Organic Vegetable Mix is ideal for a wide range of fruit trees, vegetable seedlings and herbs. This blend can be used for creating new vegetable garden beds or to replenish existing garden beds.

Top Soil (VENM)

Top Soil is a 80/20 blend - 80% coarse washed sand and 20% screened soil. It is suitable for use as an underlay for new turf or to top dress established lawns. Top Soil is suitable for all types of turf. It is a fast-draining soil that promotes deep root growth.

Due to its great drainage properties, it is ideal for areas built on a clay base, however it is not recommended to use in areas which have a naturally sandy base.

When using underneath turf we recommend applying at a thickness anywhere from 50-150mm. When applying the Top Soil it is still recommended to roll or lightly compact the soil to prevent uneven surfaces arising.

As our Top Soil is certified as VENM, no composts or fertiliser have been added to this product.

Disclaimer: Due to the screening process of the soil, small rock approximately 1-3mm can remain in the soil blend.

Organic Turfbase

Organic Turfbase is a 70/30 blend - 70% of coarse washed sand and 30% of composted organics. This soil is predominately used for fill/underlay before laying new turf.

Organic Turfbase is available by the tonne.

Mushroom Compost

Mushroom Compost is the by-product of mushroom farming and assists existing soil in retaining moisture and improving soil structure, whilst also serving as a fertiliser for plants. It can be applied as a mulch, soil conditioner or in potting mix as an additive.

Mushroom Compost can be either fresh or aged, so please be advised it can be very alkaline. Mushroom compost is not recommended for some native plants.

Mixed Compost (Mushroom and Chicken Manure)

Mixed compost is a blend of Mushroom Compost and Chicken Manure. Mixed Compost assists existing soil in retaining moisture and improving soil structure, whilst also serving as a fertiliser for plants.

It can be applied as a mulch, soil conditioner or in potting mix as an additive.

Mixed Compost is available by the m3.

Potting Mix

Chicken Manure

Is a source of organic matter that is high in nitrogen that is derived from chicken farms. Chicken manure promotes long term soil fertility and maintains soil structure and soil aeration. It also retains soil moisture and encourages earthworm activity. It can be applied as a mulch, soil conditioner or in potting mix as an additive.

Chicken Manure is available by the m3.

Potting Mix

Potting Mix is prepared from a special blend of composted organic materials to meet the Australian Standard for AS3743 for regular potting mix. It includes a balanced start up fertiliser. It is ideal for container plants in both indoor and outdoor situations.

Banana Special Fertiliser (20KG)

Banana Special is a proven general purpose formulation which contains essential nutrients for healthy growth in a wide range of garden situations. This product also contains a wetting agent that will assist efficient water use.

Banana Special is particularly suitable for vegetables and fruits but can also be used for general application to lawns, shrubs and flowers as it promotes vigorous and healthy growth in most plants and long term feeding from an organic base.

Organic Booster All Purpose Fertiliser (25KG)

Organic Booster is aerobically composted, locally sourced poultry manure. Organic Booster is different to most other poultry manure products on the market because it is aerobically composted. Aerobic composting involves actively turning it over, to oxygenate it, before processing it into easy to use pellets. Aerobic composting kills pathogens and supports healthy levels of beneficial micro-organisms in your soil.
